A Privileged Route with Its Rare Wonders
Although all our routes are privileged and exceptional we believe this route deserves this name. Because every stop is a rare wonder itself.
Egirdir is the second largest freshwater lake in Turkey. In addition to being a natural drinking water basin, it is an internationally important wetland in terms of biodiversity values. There are 514 different species of birds in Europe, while in Turkey there are 454 and 225 of them nested in Eğirdir Lake and the surrounding inhabited.
Salda is one of the deepest lake in Turkey, it is known among the world's most crystal clear waters. It has a unique visual beauty reminiscent of the Maldives. Studies conducted in the region show that Salda Lake is one of the few regions in the world that have the surface features of the planet Mars (magnesium-laden white rocks).
Sagalassos Ancient City was known as "the city of loves and emperors" in history. This ancient city, which is 1700 meters above sea level, gives the atmosphere of a magical city above the clouds. It differs from other ancient cities with its 1000-year ceramic production. With this feature, it has entered the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Hierapolis Ancient City was named Hierapolis because of the wife of Telephos, the legendary founder of Bergama. The ancient city of Hierapolis (Pamukkale), most of which is from the Roman period, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988 as a cultural and natural heritage, together with the Pamukkale Travertines, with which it stands with all its glory.
